Whilst the focus of the company will change slightly, Axis will continue to supply Vulcan designed aircraft and products, and will continue to support existing and new customers.
Vulcan UAV Ltd is a multi-copter design, development and manufacturing company based in the UK. We specialise in unusual applications normally at the heavier lift end of the market, and currently offer some of the toughest and most durable industrial multi-rotor UAV solutions in the world.
Our products range from ‘off the shelf’ airframes and related products to complete aircraft systems, with most of our work involving the design and production of custom and fully bespoke solutions. Unlike other companies we do not produce fixed products and offer them to market in the hope they are suitable, but instead specify and optimise systems to best suit the specific application and requirements of the customer. This can range from minor customisation of an existing platform to a fully bespoke ‘ground up’ development. If you need an ‘outside the box’ solution, we’re the company to talk to.
As a company we have a history going back to well before the commercial UAV and drone industry existed in any real form (over 20 years), and can genuinely claim to have been at the forefront of the industry from the very beginning. With this level of experience, and with all our design, development, manufacturing and testing done in house, we are able to offer a highly flexible, fast and agile response to our customers, with solutions based on knowledge gained from long experience. Custom Aircraft
Whilst our standard aircraft designs cater for some applications, to optimise performance for something specific, a different solution is often required. This may simply involve adapting one of our frames for a particular payload or sensor, but can also involve an entirely bespoke system.
